06.21.22 | Comments submitted to CARB by CNGVC and the Natural Gas Vehicles for America (NGVA) on the draft 2022 Scoping Plan Update released on May 10, 2022. The letter focuses on three main points:

• Support for Proposed Scenario No. 3 to achieve carbon neutrality by 2045.
• The need to realize near-term emission reductions during the years leading up to the 2045 goal.
• Inclusion of language to not only allow for, but directly encourages, deployment of the cleanest technology available, like low NOx trucks operated on renewable natural gas, to achieve near-term reductions absent commercially available heavy-duty zero-emission trucks.
